Unit Theme Penguins
Week of February 16 - 19
MONDAY No School / Presidents’ Day
TUESDAY Sequencing: The children find hidden puzzle pieces that are black or white. Once all the pieces are found they will put the puzzle together to make a black and white sundae, with a big red cherry on top, of course.
WEDNESDAY Negatives: The children will group pictures/objects into things that are hot and NOT hot and into things that are cold and NOT cold.
THURSDAY Matching: The children will try to find matching penguin pictures and say why they are the same and/or why they are NOT the same.
