My apologies to the parents but it seems that two of my posts have now disappeared or I goofed in saving them. to recap, so far this year we have had the following units: Back to School, Self-Awareness, Home and Family, and we have just finished with Insects (yay!) I am NOT an insect fan so this is the most difficult unit for me to have fun with, but we did manage to have a lot of fun learning about insects. Our next unit, starting on Monday, will focus on Fall/Pumpkins. With the temperature beginning to "fall" and the leaves on the trees starting to turn beautiful colors of yellow, red, and orange, there are so many things to learn about the season of Fall/Autumn and about all those pumpkins we are starting to see pop up everywhere. Will you be carving your pumpkins, or cooking them into pies, breads, muffins, cookies... ? However you use your pumpkins, I hope you have a lot of fun doing it.
