The groundhog didn't see his shadow (Jimmy, that is, in Wisconsin)... Tomorrow is Valentine's Day (are you ready??) and we have been scurrying about the preschool with new students coming in and our previous students making great progress. In fact, parent-teacher conferences are this week to review all that progress.
We also sped right through our Bakery unit and now we are on Transportation unit for this week and next. The vocabulary for this unit includes: CAR, BUS, PLANE, HELICOPTER, MOTORCYCLE, BIKE, BOAT, AMBULANCE, TRAIN, AND SKATEBOARD. This week we are focusing on Action Words, Descriptive Words, and Sorting into Categories. Next week we will focus on Using -ing endings,Mmaking Sentences and Labeling the Categories. Have fun playing with all those cars, trains and planes at home. Before you know it, March will be here.
